ROTARY SHARES.  What is this and what does it mean?

Each year our Rotary International President selects a motivational theme to guide under.  This year’s president , Wilf Wilkinson from Canada , has chosen “Rotary Shares” as this years rotary theme.  The RI theme, Rotary Shares, is a reflection of his commitment to share Rotary with others through service and recruiting new members.  He sees the concept of sharing as a motivating force behind Rotary work. “In choosing this theme, I thought about how much of Rotary is about sharing. We share our time, we share our talents, we share our money with others who need our help,”.  Wilf has launched the new Rotary year as the year to “Say Yes to Rotary.”  as he told incoming district governors at the 2007 International Assembly in February.

I invite you to take every opportunity in your professional and personal day to share your experiences from attending our meetings, volunteering at our fundraisers and service projects, and the great friends you have made by being a member of Collier Rotary.  By sharing your experiences Says Yes to Rotary!
